Good sleep contains several undisturbed NREM- and REM-states. The states follow smoothly each other. It is well-known fact that the deepest sleep (NREM levels 3 and 4) has a lot to do with your physical and mental health and how you feel in morning. 3rd // Exercising


Exercise and Sleep.
Human beings are physically designed for walking and running. Unfortunately the modern way of living requires more or less sitting. From good sleep´s point of view, you do not have to exercise like professional athlete to achieve good results. Daily work out can be light and useful (walking, stairs etc.). It should last minimum 30 minutes. Besides to keep in condition you should have three heavier exercises in a week (running, swimming, gym, yoga, etc.).

Keep Going Strong.
You can always start exercising. And it works immediately for you. Physical exercise can contribute positively to maintaining a healthy weight; building and maintaining healthy bone density, muscle strength, and joint mobility. It is also promoting physiological well-being and reducing surgical risks and strengthening the immune system. Frequent and regular aerobical exercise has been shown to help prevent or treat serious and life-threatening chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, obesity, heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, insomnia,
and depression.


4th // Nutrition


Balanced Nutrition.
One of the best ways to healthy living is to eat a balanced diet. Balanced healthy diet includes sources of protein, carbohydrates, sugar, vitamin, mineral and fat too. In other words: bread, potatoes, peas, fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, eggs and alternatives, milk and dairy products...

Be Moderate.
Once again, it is the same with nutrition that it is with physical exercise. Be reasonable! Dine regularly (five light meals per day) always at the same time. It is much better for your digestive system to work lightly than get smashed by one or more big portions.

You Are Made of Water.
About 70% of your body is water. To function properly, the body requires about 5 litres liters of water per day to avoid dehydration; the precise amount depends on the level of activity, temperature, humidity, and other factors. Most experts agree that 8-10 glasses of water (approximately 2 liters) daily is the minimum to maintain proper hydration.

Planning is Everything.
It is not the money, it is the expenses. Your economy has to be balanced. It is just the same with sleep also. It is not the amount of sleep you will get, it is the quality. This is why Unikulma Beds are made after we know who sleeps in it - and what are the personal demands for the mattress.
